1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all sales made via the MicroBioLab® website to customers located in France, Switzerland, Canada, Luxembourg, and Belgium.

Any confirmed order implies full and complete acceptance of these GTC.


2. Products

MicroBioLab® sells food supplements for dogs (probiotics, prebiotics, postbiotics).

The descriptions, visuals, and information on the site are provided for informational purposes and are not contractual.

MicroBioLab® products:

  • are not medications

  • do not replace a veterinary diagnosis or treatment

  • must be used in accordance with the recommendations provided

Canada: Products are sold as pet nutritional supplements in accordance with CFIA requirements.


3. Rebranding and packaging variation

MicroBioLab® is currently undergoing a rebranding phase.

Product packaging (container, label, visual) may therefore vary from one order to another without affecting the formulation, quality, or composition of the product.

The visuals on the website are therefore not contractual regarding the external appearance of the product.


4. Price

Prices are indicated:

  • in euros (EUR) for France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Switzerland

  • in Canadian dollars (CAD) for customers located in Canada

Prices include VAT where applicable.

Any customs duties, local taxes, or import fees (especially for Switzerland and Canada) remain the responsibility of the customer.

MicroBioLab® reserves the right to modify its prices at any time.
The prices applied are those in effect at the time of the order.


5. Order

An order is considered validated when:

  • payment is accepted

  • a confirmation email is sent to the customer

MicroBioLab® reserves the right to cancel any order in case of fraud, attempted fraud, or incorrect information.


6. Payment

Payments are secured via Shopify Payments and its approved providers.

Payment methods accepted vary by country:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, CB)

  • Shop Pay

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • PayPal

  • Interac (subject to availability in Canada)

Payment is debited immediately after order confirmation.


7. Delivery

MicroBioLab® orders are shipped via international logistics partners.

Delivery times displayed on the site are average estimates and not contractual guarantees.

Generally observed delivery times:

France, Belgium, Luxembourg
7 to 14 business days

Switzerland
7 to 14 business days
Customs fees may apply depending on local regulations.

Canada
7 to 15 business days depending on the province

These deadlines may be extended in certain situations beyond MicroBioLab®'s control, including:

  • logistical overload of carriers

  • customs controls

  • disruptions to international transport

  • exceptional events or periods of high activity

In these situations, the order remains considered in transit as long as the package is registered in the carrier's network.

MicroBioLab® cannot be held responsible for delays caused by:

  • carriers

  • customs services

  • logistical events beyond its control

  • an incorrect delivery address provided by the customer.


8. Right of withdrawal

France, Belgium, Luxembourg
In accordance with the Consumer Code: 14 days from receipt.

Switzerland and Canada
30 days from receipt.

For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or unsealed products cannot be returned.


9. Returns and refunds

A return is only accepted if the product is:

  • unopened

  • in its original packaging

  • in perfect condition

  • returned within legal deadlines

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds are issued after receipt and inspection of the returned product.

A package still in transit cannot be refunded.

If the customer no longer wishes to keep the product, it must be returned after receipt for the refund to be processed.

Product damaged upon receipt:
A photo must be sent to support@getmicrobiolab.com within 48 hours of delivery.


10. Responsibility

MicroBioLab® disclaims all responsibility in case of:

  • improper use of the product

  • non-compliance with usage instructions

  • reactions related to the animal's specific sensitivity

  • delays related to the carrier or customs services

If there is any doubt about the animal's health, veterinary advice is recommended.


11. Personal Data (GDPR & PIPEDA)

MicroBioLab® respects:

  • GDPR for European customers

  • PIPEDA for Canadian customers

The customer may request:

  • access to their data

  • their modification

  • their deletion

  • their export

12. Intellectual Property

The website www.getmicrobiolab.com, its content (texts, images, logos), and the MicroBioLab® brand are protected by French, European, and Canadian laws.

Any total or partial reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.


13. Applicable Law

EU customers: French law

Swiss customers: Law of the Swiss Confederation

Canadian customers: Law applicable in the customer's province

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
